At Bespoke, we love working with fellow creatives, so when artist Dave Robinson approached us to help shape the brand identity for his new business, Where The Heart Is, we were all in. Dave is an old friend and former fellow student of Bespoke Co-Founder Lance Corrigan, and his vision for this project was something truly special.

Dave’s artistic talent lies in capturing the charm and character of local landmarks, transforming them into beautifully crafted gifts and merchandise. His new venture aims to bring these unique designs to a wider audience, selling through high-end retailers. But to make a lasting impression on these prestigious buyers, he needed more than just great artwork, he needed a strong, professional brand identity.

As designers, we understand that creating a brand identity is very different from creating artwork. While Dave’s pieces are expressive and personal, a brand needs to be versatile, recognisable, and consistent across multiple platforms. Our challenge was to capture the essence of Where The Heart Is in a way that felt authentic to Dave’s artistic style while also giving his business the credibility and polish needed to appeal to retail decision-makers.
