Bespoke Brands provided a service that ‘girlvanised’ our spirits

Charlotte, identified as ‘one to watch’, liaised with Bespoke Brands to enable her to galvanise her brand and to communicate her mission to get more girls into sport. Embracing Michelle Obama’s mantra that ‘there is no limit to what a woman can accomplish’, Charlotte is at the start of her journey to begin a sporting initiative that encourages girls to build longevity in sport.

Overview

Girlvanise was an idea created by Charlotte as part of an entry into a competition. The ‘Future Leaders, Ivy House’ competition required Charlotte to share her idea with the judges and justify her vision. She beat thousands of students from across the world to be named “Future Leader of the Year 2022” in a prestigious international leadership competition. Building on this, Charlotte is working to roll her idea out and turn her vision into a charitable initiative. Girlvanise is an initiative that aims to get more girls into sport by building links between grassroots clubs and schools.

The challenge

To create a strong brand that encapsulated Charlotte’s mission and message. The logo needed to reflect both femininity and strength. It needed to target young girls but emphasises the power and strength of girls in sport. Also, Girlvanise (Charlotte) required a website that conveyed the message of the initiative and promoted the event that Charlotte was using to launch her initiative. This needed to appeal to parents and the intended audience. Also, Charlotte needed a social media campaign to promote the event.

Charlotte felt it was a company that listened and took the time to understand the problem and took time to formulate a solution that factored in the audience. Lance was able to take Charlotte’s ideas on board and deliver a strong brand, with a website that targeted the key target audience.

The service and the solution

Bespoke Brands fully understood the message and the philosophy that Charlotte was trying to convey. They produced an innovative design that incorporated a lightning bolt to infer the power of girls when they are involved in sport. They also created a website that was easy to navigate and used to perpetuate Charlotte’s mission. Also, the website incorporated a page where people could sign up to Charlotte’s events. Alongside this, Charlotte wanted branded postcards to celebrate the involvement of the participants. The logo was applied to clothing to ensure that Charlotte’s event appeared corporate and all of the helpers and coaches, that Charlotte got involved, were recognisable as people involved in the event. Emails were created and designed by Lance giving a corporate, yet friendly appeal to all correspondence.

We were delighted to be able to help and support Charlotte in her mission to get girls moving. We were thrilled to be able to create a brand to both convey and support Charlotte’s message. We know this strong design will galvanise Charlotte in her attempts to gain traction and support for her mission.
