Bucking the trend

We were recently asked about our design process and how we manage to create work that follows the latest trends. To start with, we need to establish what these trends are. There are several ways that trends can influence what we do. There are design trends that are determined by the latest fonts, colours, and styles that brand designers use. Then, there are other industry-specific trends such as the format of the work we produce and how the designs are displayed.

We follow trends like the use of motion in branding solutions and the application of brands across new and constantly changing media. This is because we need to ensure that what we create will work effectively on all platforms.

However, design trends are constantly changing. They may be current one minute and outdated the next. This is not ideal when you're creating a visual identity for someone or something that needs to establish itself in a specific marketplace.

If you focus solely on the latest trending colours or typefaces and neglect creating a strong visual identity that is authentic to you and your business, it will not stand the test of time. Therefore, it's better to be true to yourself and your brand and not focus on the latest design trends. People ultimately see through the latest trends and prefer the real deal, which is what you are.

If you want to establish yourself in your chosen industry and stand out from the crowd, don't hesitate to contact us. We can help you create a strong visual identity that is true to you and your business, and make you stand out from the competition.

Reach out to us today and let's create something extraordinary together.
